Hi guys,
I just got some interesting display when I clicked the 'About this Mac' (& can't get that display back with any optional Keys+Mouse clicks).
All 4 pics are with-in that display. Here it is:
The 5th pict is for philipma. The Xbench stops at 2nd 'Thread Test' so I had to exclude that test but as you can see it would add quite to the overall score (since 2 counts are missing & both would be in 400 ~ 500 range) and as you can see the total up to that point is 256...

Hey people,
I'm trying to customize a wordpress theme for my own personal blog, but am confused about something. Every link I have that is an image has a brown solid line underneath it and a red bar at the bottom of it when you hover over it. I've tried getting rid of this by changing the a:hover img component in the css file, but not sure what I need to do to get rid of that red bar. Any ideas?
You can see an example of what I mean at www.beforethecubicle.com/photos

I think it would be great to see, which devices from apple all of you have!
The Program, what i'm talking about: http://www.mactracker.ca/
Can also be downloaded on the Mac App Store for free! :)
Would be cool, if you post a screenshot of the list "My Models".

This would be great news if they do manage to release a wireless one. Maybe they can go back to the 3 AA batteries or even 4 to maximize the battery life.

I would like to post it in the DUC but i do not know what that is. BUt yes Pro tools LE 8 took up 100 gig's until i deleted it. It included the files for the one project i was working on. Yes i mean 100GB.
DUC is the Digidesign User Conference at http://duc.digidesign.com/
With all due respect, I don't think PT le itself took up 100 gig. I know you say that figure also includes the files for the project you are or were working on, but still...... Must have been a lot of tracks of recorded audio at high sample rates and bit depths. Also, disk space is cheap - 1 terabyte drives can be had for around $100.

Supports up to 4GB, darn. Thanks though.
Let me guess... you checked using the serial number method I posted, right? If you had also checked the other two, you would see it supports up to 6GB, even though Apple only says 4GB. I edited my earlier post for clarification.

I definitely like how you're pushing the boundaries of your P&S. You seem to have some idea about composition and lighting.
Perhaps start learning more about DSLRs and things like exposure, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, lens types, etc. before making the $800+ plunge. That way you get some time to learn what you would need, improving your pics now and also save enough money to know for sure if a DSLR is what you need.
It's less of a privilege to own a DSLR and more of a need-based thing. If you think your P&S is limiting what you want to shoot, a DSLR may be the right thing for you. Especially since the nut behind the camera is what creates the photographic magic, not the camera itself (there are caveats to that statement, but you get the point).

I don't have an iPad2 or the camera kit but I do have the ability to use google so here you go: http://www.pcworld.com/article/195013/ipad_camera_connection_kit_connects_other_things_too.html
granted that article talks about the iPad1 so you will need to test the method to confirm it.
here is a tutorial for using handbrake to rip the movies in the first place: http://www.methodshop.com/gadgets/tutorials/handbrake/index.shtml

Apple is anti-jailbreak, as you've learned the hard way; when you jailbreak your iDevice, you don't ever want to update it through iTunes.
If you can restore or start new from within iTunes, then I'd recommend giving Apple a call.

I should have said that I've tried the bannerViewActionDidFinish-function, but when dismissing the iAd it isn't called.
Perhaps the problem is that I'm using it incorrectly if that is indeed the function to be used.

#import <iAd/iAd.h>
@interface DetailViewController : UIViewController <UIPopoverControllerDelegate, UISplitViewControllerDelegate, UIWebViewDelegate, ADBannerViewDelegate>

The problem is that I have an identical macbook pro that needs the same set up, so I ghosted the disk, and restored the ghost image to the second machine.
You may need to do a clean install of Windows in the bootcamp partition. Just as an aside, you won't be able to run Windows for more than 30 days unless you have a separate license for the 2nd machine (i.e. - you won't be able to register both installs with MS, using the same license).

In all reality, you want zero pageouts, however, yours are so low I wouldn't really worry. You must BARELY be using more than the 1.5gb of ram you have. What do you use your PM for? I have a dual 2ghz PM and 1gb of ram and zero pageouts. However, the most hardcore thing I've done is safari, firstclass, iChat, iTunes and iMovie/iDVD open and working at the same time. I think once I get Photoshop on there are start using that I might get a few pageouts. That and if I ever get Final Cut Pro I'm sure I will. But, thats neither here nor there since I have what I have and thats all I'll have for a while.
